Ann + Emeke Wedding [McKinney Wedding Photographer]

Recently I had the honor of photographing the beautiful wedding of Ann and Emeke. This couple is so incredibly sweet and gracious, as is their entire family! Their union was just beautiful, blending the traditions of both the American and Nigerian culture with unparalleled attention to detail. There were diamonds and sparkles everywhere! A big 'thumbs-up' to Nkiru of Diice Events for all her hard work!

Rebecca and Matt have started a new year and a new life together in 2009. These two people have such a sincere and genuine love for each other that it just radiates and you can't help but get caught up in the emotion. Their story is one that movies are made of: They met at a young age. She says he made her laugh like nobody else and he says she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. They had a whirlwind romance, but life and circumstance drew them apart. Despite going their separate ways for two years, a flame continued to simmer until one day it all fell into place. It's as if their love was waiting for them to be ready for each other...as if they had always been destined to be together.

You only have to meet this couple to feel this energy...the feelings of love and history...and deep commitment to each other and to their spirituality. Their wedding was one of the most emotional and beautiful weddings I have ever attended-the church filled with the people they love-I don't think there was a dry eye in the place!

Rebecca and Matt-thank you for allowing me to be part of this very special and intimate day in your lives. I hope that your life together is blessed beyond your wildest dreams...because the love you have for each other...it's built to last.

Oh where do I start? I LOVE this couple...completely infatuated with each other, gorgeous, a beautiful ceremony and super-cool reception (House of Blues)...but I can't chat too much or I won't have anything to say when I post their slideshow! Until then, here is a sneak peek of what is to come.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Byron Norton

Amy and Byron are MARRIED! It was a beautiful day...

The flowers were gorgeous and I loved how Amy personalized her bouquet.

It's official! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how Amy is looking at Byron and smiling. She was just glowing with happiness=gorgeous.

The cakes! Amy custom designed her cake to look like her dress, which was beautiful. Byron had a A&M cake, which was perfect for their alma mater.

Rachel & Chris: IN LOVE & ENGAGED!

Hi Everyone!  Remember the wedding I posted about a month ago?  Well, this is the [hot] couple!  Meet Rachel & Chris-they are engaged and so IN LOVE!  We had a great time photographing their engagements last weekend--we started with some Sangria at my house (it's my specialty) and moved onto various locations near by.  I am so very excited to be photographing their wedding at the Fort Worth YWCA in November!

Catching Up...

Hi Everyone!

I am SWAMPED, without much time to chat, so here's a quick update!  

I have been so very busy this past two weeks!  I photographed a wedding with the amazing Kristin Greenlee and Amy Lamar this weekend AND I squeezed in a quick shoot for one of my new Senior Girls from Plano!  

By the way--weddings...are a marathon!  I can't believe the workout I received from shooting from 1-10pm!  I can't wait to share some of these images with you.  Right now I have to get caught up!
