Angel & Josh: Engaged and InLOVE [McKinney Wedding Photographer]

Angel and Josh are getting married! After being together for over 5 years, this romantic couple says it's about time they tied the knot! I had a wonderful time photographing their engagement session in the gorgeous weather--we explored, laughed, battled insane wind...all in the name of capturing their love for each other on film--such a heartwarming sight. I hope that they look back on these images years from now and see the adoration and happiness in their eyes...the silent joy conveyed when they look at each other. Gives me goose bumps! I cannot wait for their big day!

Andrew & Jaclyn are Engaged and In LOVE! [Dallas / Fort Worth Wedding Photographer]

When I first met Jaclyn and Andrew, I was struck by how adorable they were together--they seemed as if their relationship had that great depth--the kind that comes from knowing each other for a long time...the kind that is built solidly on a strong friendship. They playfully anticipate each others next move, know how to meet half-way and seem to have a great, grounded outlook on life. Couples like this make my heart melt because it's this kind of love that is built to last...the kind that rolls with the punches of life and emerges stronger with each day, even more deeply rooted than the one before.

It's no surprise that I had a wonderful time photographing their engagement session! We captured stolen moments and attempted to depict a few of the different sides of their multi-faceted relationship. It's only appropriate that regardless of the setting or clothing, they both look incredibly happy and in love. Thank you so very much for allowing me to be a part of such an incredible time in your lives--I can't wait for your wedding next year!

Andrew & Trevor Turn 1!!! Sneak Peak

Today I was able to be a fly on the wall at a very special celebration...Trevor and Andrew (delicious twin boys) celebrated their very FIRST birthday!  Mom and Dad are so very hip--a true delight.  And let me tell you--it was all I could do to not bundle these two sweet little men up with my equipment and bring them home with me!  Trevor is very reserved, soulful and soaks up everything around him--when he looks at you, it's as if he is drinking you in...memorizing your features...look out ladies, he's sure to be a heart breaker [especially with that sweet mohawk mommy gives him]!  Andrew is outgoing, charming...the kind of guy who can melt your heart with one of his sweet smiles--he's into everything and exploring.  Can you believe he can walk?!?

Meet Rachel--Senior 2009

Hey everyone--I'd love to introduce you to one of my Senior Ambassador's for 2009--Rachel!  We are going to do an awesome senior photo shoot in the next few weeks, but this talented coed has raised a sweet lamb [Bartholomew] from birth.  Do you know she drives to the barn to take care of all of his needs twice a day?  That's commitment if you ask me.  

Well, Bartholomew and Rachel headed out to a livestock show last week, so we had to sneak some photographs in beforehand.  I'm pretty proud of the fact I was able to get both my subject AND a lamb to look straight at me :)  Look for Rachel's Senior 2009 Session in the coming weeks!
